Clatsop Care Center is a 30 bed skilled nursing facility located in Astoria, Oregon. This facility has many nearby attractions, including various ocean and river activities, the Astoria trolley, and even the Goonies’ house! This therapy department maintains a dynamic skilled and outpatient program with specialties in wound care and other various programs. In addition to serving the SNF, we also serve other Clatsop Care District locations including Clatsop Care Retirement Village, and Clatsop Care Memory Community.

The therapy team at this facility exemplify the meaning of the Finnish word “Sisu” which means “extraordinary determination, courage, and resoluteness in the face of extreme adversity.” The Scandinavian culture of Astoria lives this way, which guides them in assisting their patients to reach their personal rehabilitation goals. The team is very diverse and embraces equality. The team also has a robust Outpatient program.
The gym is large with a lot of natural light and it is fully equipped with ACP modalities, two omnicycles, VR, Estim, diathermy and NuStep. The outdoor space has a private garden, outdoor surface training, curbs, ramps, concrete etc. This gym does not lack what is needed to provide care!
